Well Jimmay G is done
What's even more insane is that the Raiders had ALREADY MADE A FIELD GOAL THAT DRIVE! There was a penalty on Pittsburgh on the attempt, LV accepted the penalty, and burned another minute and a half just to attempt another field goal.W said:
whoa, Raiders kick a FG with 2:31 to go

must have Carlson on his fantasy team

Would they be calling him a genius if it worked? Sure looks foolish now.
He was playing 4D chess knowing they'd waste another minute and a half.oh no said:
And it was DeMarvin Leal that committed the penalty that got them half the distance on their first FG.

left Achane on bench.. and still scored 163pts with Puka and Kyren to play, bench has 115 with A Jones out
another team (thankfully not facing) still might actually outscore me with Keenan/Deebo/Bills has 188pts with Goedart to play
If I started Achane over Javonte and Tank Dell over Drake London, I would have scored 216.86 .5 PPR points. Insane week.mAgnoliAg said:EliteZags said:

Damn you should've DFS'd your team and you'd be in hella cash. My wife would've ended with 193.52 if she played Achane. Now she's gonna lose if Mike Evans scores 15.2 or more tonight.
I 100% will admit I was wrong on Achane. But think you still might be able to try and cash in on Josh Jacobs. At the least you are happy with Keenan Allen's 40 point game. Not sure Javonte + Addison will be enough though. And Tank Dell looks legit.Zachary Klement said:He ended up pulling the offer when I was in class anyway.texagbeliever said:I would decline it. Look at week 3: Josh Jacobs plays against the Steelers. Steelers look bad against the run, but that is because they played the 49ers and Browns. Two teams built to run it. I was just offered Josh Jacobs for Keenan Allen.
My team is:
QB: Justin Herbert
RBs: Javonte Williams, Jerome Ford
WRs: Jjettas, Keenan Allen
FLEXES: Brandon Aiyuk, Drake London
TE: MAndrews
Bench: Jordan Addison, Jahan Dotson, Tank Dell, Justice Hill, Kenneth Gainwell, De'Von Achane
IR: Jonathan Taylor
Obviously improves my RB situation greatly, but I really enjoy the Keenan-Herbert stack. My team is 2-0, so I feel like I can hold out for JT to return. A part of me wants to decline it because of how gross the Raiders have looked offensively and how inefficient Jacobs has been. I also think with two flex spots, I can more easily get away with a weaker RB room. Any strong thoughts one way or the other?
also trying to figure out where your early round picks went.. unless this is like 14+ team league?
I have a somewhat similar structured roster in a 10 team that seems to have a bit more firepower:
QB Herbert
RB Jacobs, Rhamondre
WR Tyreek, Puka
Flx AJones, Mostert
TE Kittle
Kyren, Hopkins, Flowers, Hollywood, Mims, Achane, Kincaid
IR: JT
I find even in ppr the ability to roll out quad workhorse RB's to be tough to contend with, so gonna be often benching good amount of wr talent
Meanwhile you could have Javonte with a big game (and get the hype of him being back) against a Miami so-so run defense. Also Addison could keep the good times rolling. Maybe you could do a Javonte + Addison for Jacobs if week 3 plays out right. You could also throw in Tank Dell to sweeten it further if he balls out too.
If Jacobs balls out against Steelers the opportunity is gone. If Jacobs does okay Keenan stays healthy in week 3 you can try the trade then. If Jacobs does bad and Javonte + Addison/Dell ball out then you can maybe upgrade your RB without costing you a prime starter. Also unloading Addison will be good since you have JJ.
Josh Jacobs has a much more friendly middle season matchups coming up after week 3 so he is one to target. Though Denver contained him pretty well and they are not the denver defense of a recent stoutness.
I am hoping that Javonte pops this weekend. The guy who offered me the Josh Jacobs deal is pretty high on Addison too...we discussed an Addison for Kamara deal that didn't materialize, but if he goes off again this weekend, I'll be looking to shop him and try to improve the RB room.

Mike Williams done for the year. I have Q Johnson on my bench, but he's been non-existent this year. Seems like next in line will be Palmer.
I think Palmer. Johnson has a lot of work ahead of him to be relevant in this league.mAgnoliAg said:MSFC Aggie said:

Both available in my league. Who do we think is second fiddle to Keenan
Man, I was high on Achane but did not see THAT coming. I definitely think a sell-high opportunity is there, but don't think the Jacobs owner would flip him for Achane straight up, and after watching Jacobs in primetime, I don't know how interested I am in an Achane+WR swap.texagbeliever said:I 100% will admit I was wrong on Achane. In my league, that's me. So I guess I'm holding! The Porkchop Express said:

Maybe. The worry would be that he would get double teamed and that safeties could cheat more his way.Enviroag02 said:
Does Keenan Allen benefit from the Williams injury?
I can't image him doing more than he already is!
