Would you trade Kenneth Walker and Nico Collins for Derrick Henry? 1 pt PPR

My next best RB is Khalil Herbert, and Nico is not currently in my starting lineup but is fringe.

Hold Akers or pick up Justice Hill, Gus Edwards, Tyjae Spears, Kendre Miller.

Akers getting shopped around- I think I'd hold for a little while longer. Justice and Gus will be split/committee all year and always a dicey fantasty start/sit decision. Tyjae is a handcuff / stash in case of Henry injury. kendre is only useful this week before Kamara returns and even Jamaal wasn't that useful weeks 1&2.

Unless you need a starter this week (kendre), hold Akers in case he gets traded.

Sanders, Mattison, and Javonte Williams. Things are going well here.

James Cook, Alex Mattison, Miles Sanders, Zach Charbonnet, Alvin Kamara (susp)


I don't think it's worth a flyer to start Kendre Miller over any of your three for one week because Akers could get traded and be in a new smash spot for ROS, and I don't think having to decide on starting Gus or Justice week to week for ROS will be any better than Sanders or Mattison week to week, but who knows?

How many TEs do you have? QBs? DEF? If you only have 4 RBs on your roster I am betting you have a droppable guy in another position. Take a flyer on Kendre Miller or Tyjae Spears. Honestly in your case you should maybe look to be aggressive to take a flyer on both.

It is not looking like you will win a title with Sanders, Mattison or Javonte Williams as your 2nd RB much less your your top 2. Now injuries / rookie breakout I could see a Kendre Miller / Tyjae Spears being top 2 RBs. Now maybe Sanders could get moved to a team that wants a RB since Sanders doesn't fit the Carolina running scheme (because Sanders is nothing like Foreman or Hubbard really).

Also maybe look to trade a WR 3/4 for Roschon or Jaylen Warren.

Looking at defense for this week. I picked up the Jets off waivers against NE but Phi is available against TB. I'm leaning towards Philly since I think Baker has got to come back down to earth eventually but what're y'all's thoughts. Also have the rams out there that could pick up if Burrow is out too think Cincy would be pretty rough on O without Burrow.

Ekeler news, I'm almost wondering if he might be out till after their bye week (Week 5)

(Ekeler says around 1:30 mark. He says roughly its not a out several months but it is a day to day, week to week kind of thing. This makes me think he is not coming back week 3 and then if Kelley has a great week 3, maybe they just rest Ekeler till the bye)

I would drop AJ Dillion, but before that maybe you can trade him to someone for some FAAB. Say Dillion for $3-5 of FAAB. Then you can add a RB who can actually become somebody.
I also think Allgeier is the better start over Sanders and Williams in week 3.

Panthers just signed Miles Sanders for 25 million dollars. Why do you think they'll move him? I think they're starting their rookie QB and top overall draft pick, who needs more time before their offense really gets going with the running game and play action passing. It may not happen for Miles this season as a great fantasy starter, but I think he continues to dominate snaps and touches over Chubba and they aren't trying to move Sanders before the Oct trade deadline. ...and Javonte is two games into first action since catastrophic knee surgery and holding up well while the Broncos are two games into the Sean Peyton era. I think there's reason for optimism that he becomes a solid RB2 fantasy starter within the next few weeks. Russ and the Broncos already look worlds better on offense under Peyton than last season.

Spears looks good, but how much work is he really going to eat into King Henry's snap count? He doesn't project as a RB2 starter over Miles or Mattison yet as a promising rookie because he'll continue to be a back-up RB or passing down only spot.. If you have room to stash, he's a great handcuff if something happens to Henry though.

Kendre will get all the work this week, but he has yet to play a down through the first two weeks. Then Alvin Kamara is back next week. And Jamaal returns sometime thereafter, whereas Miles and Mattision, albeit middling and risky rb2 starters that won't win anyone's fantasy leagues, should get Rb1 volume on their teams for ROS. A gamble on Kendre now is a gamble that he kicks ass at green bay this week and earns time-share with Kamara for ROS.

If Burrow is out Rams are good. Latest news on Burrow is he is doing better and sounds like should be expected to play Monday night.

Eagles have injuries on their secondary and linebackers. Eagles also shut down the run. I think Baker has the weapons with Evans/Godwin to do work. This is a secondary that gave up over 300 yards to Mac Jones.

Unless you have a JT plus a RB1 on your roster I don't like this trade. Don't get anchored to Ridley's first boom game and over value him. Kirk will be more involved. Engram & Zay Jones. Etienne will get some TDs.

I had McPherson for the first two weeks and suffered. Just waiver wired Jake Elliott. Not sure how he was available, but hopefully it works out. Usually with my luck McPherson will kick 5 field goals this week after I dropped him.

Dammit I missed out on grabbing Kareem hunt

makes sense for the Browns, given the familiarity of the offense and need for depth now, but Jerome Ford looked goood on Monday night and has been there through camp while Hunt has been out on his butt somewhere. I wouldn't fret if someone snatched up Hunt on waivers last night or as a FA today as soon as news hit. Ford was the prize if you had the priority, IMO.

Cleveland Defense is ranked #1 in 1st downs gained rate for Run & Pass. They are an elite defense and have the QB hits to suggest sacks and turnovers should be higher. Tannehill is probably less mobile and hasn't been great lately.

keeping CLE is under consideration and I do like them home vs TEN as Tannehil threw three picks in week 1, but considering other options. CLE bye week is early - week 5 - and has BAL in week 4, so I'll likley be dropping them in the next couple weeks if not dropping them now anyway. Although CLE has a great schedule for FF playoffs at the end of the season, I gotta worry about making the playoffs with my 0-2 team first.

JAX home vs HOU looks pretty delicious too, but they have ATL and @BUF after that, so would def. be a one week stream.

Alexander Mattison could be a good buy low for RB-needy teams. Nice upcoming schedule, can probably get him super cheap.

I agree you could get him cheap and he's a guy that will command a lot of volume. However idk how much I trust the Vikings run game with their OL being shaky at best. He reminds me of Miles Sanders a guy who gets all the volume but doesn't do a lot with it.

it sure would be nice if the Minnesota and/or Carolina OLs could figure it out. holding Mattison and Sanders in two leagues.

Like said, Mattison should improve based on schedule. Seems like a good chance this week.
