His reaction was very similar to an achilles tear

Was thinking that too. I know nothing. Just the first thing that came to mind

I'm guessing either knee or lower leg fracture. It didn't look particularly rough

Even being in good shape, it's hard to take a the physical beating of an NFL qb at age 39

Don't care if he misses next week. Almost hope he does. Cowboy fans have seen more than enough of that guy.

But if it's bad, I wonder if that would be it and he would be done….because that would be the most "Jets" thing ever if they finally getting a MVP QB and he only plays like 6 plays and never completes a pass

Achilles injury reactions are pretty similar. On the basketball court, you'll see someone look behind them because the initial sensation feels like someone kicked you in the calf. About 20 seconds go by, they're walking normally, then the feeling of injury sets in.

Rodgers didn't look behind him but he got up, went back to the huddle, stood like normal, then went down.

Hopefully it's not an Achilles but it wouldn't surprise me

I'm still thinking Achilles.

Prob the same calf injury which is attached to Achilles

Either way it's gonna be the **** Hunter show

I can't imagine! I'm 45 now and I knew at 18 that my college football hopes were gone because my body was done.

Once I hit mid 30's, I fell down a few times doing yard work.... tripped over a rake or something. Felt like my entire world was blowing up. I can't imagine being hit by a 250 lbs mountain of muscle at that age!

I wouldn't bet $100 to win $1000 on Rodgers playing another NFL snap again.

I said in the Cowboys thread that I wondered if this whole Jets thing was a money grab. His heart was never in it, but if another team was willing to pay him a $75 Million guaranteed contract, why the hell not.

This whole thing just stinks of Rogers playing the poor Jets franchise.

I've always had a soft spot for long-suffering fans like the Jets and Lions. For NY, all their hopes gone up in smoke the first few minutes of the season- that's rough. I'll have to tune in to Mike Greenberg's radio show tomorrow just to make sure he survived the night. Gonna be painful.
I love Texas Aggie sports, but I love Texas A&M more.

Josh Allen makes some really dumb turnovers sometimes. Wtf was that? It looked like he could've run for the first, if he could make a man miss.

Lol... what's pathetic? Rogers or the fact that my body broke down earlier than I ever expected it to?

Yep. We're about to found out how much fight is in this Jets team. I suspect quite a bit, but man, they put a LOT of expectation into this whole Rodgers gamble.

After watching Hard Knocks, I don't think that is the case.
