And he looked solid blocking in the run game, which means he will get a lot of snaps in this offense. Very much a nice TE option if you waited to draft the position.

And Montgomery only had 14 more yards. By mid-season it'll be mostly Gibbs, but always be a time share. Gibbs was so much more explosive.

Campbell told us this would happen.

But if Montgomery still gets the goal line touches, not sure who'll be more valuable fantasy wise, honestly. D-Mont can go 40-60 yards with 8-12 TDs this season easily. Fantastic for a flex/RB3 option slot.

A few other observations:

-Even taking into account no Kelse, Lions DST looks streamable this season.
-Jared Goff was solid with 253 yds and a TD.
-Josh Reynolds may be worth a bench stash in deeper leagues with a solid 7/4/80/0 line.
-Despite the receiving goose egg, Skyy Moore was in on a lot of snaps, had a catch erased by penalty, and his three targets were either high or behind him. I wouldn't panic yet if you have him on your roster.
-I would be concerned about Kadarius Toney who had 5 targets, one carry, and 0 total yards, with a drop that led to a pick six.

Man sans Kelce the Chiefs have no playmakers on offense. Regarding Pacheco, I've never seen a players feet move so fast and gain so few yards. He looks like the flash and a slug at the same time.

Looks like some learned you cannot and will never trust any KC player not named Mahomes and Kelce. No KC WR will ever do well.

Will be interesting to see how their offense rolls without Bienemy.

There was enough film and track record on Toney and Moore from past seasons to know a night like this was well within the realm of possibility, if not likely. If you started either of them, it's on you.

Agreed. Don't want to overreact but the WR corps did so poorly for the Chiefs I almost wonder if they start working the back channels for mid season trade potentials.

Ken Walker given the questionable tag yesterday with a limited practice Thursday. He has been dealing with the groin issue all preseason. Zack Charbonnet may at least be in line for more work in week 1. Will be nice to see if he has "Ken Walker" type value as an injury backup if he can get some split touches.
