We don't think JT is worth a bunch of money, BUT we think he is worth a first-rounder!

a lot of unhappy running backs out there

May cut my kicker so I can hold onto both…Zack Moss was listed over both of them prior to breaking his arm. Wish it wasn't so murky.

Local (Indy) sports guy was saying Zack Moss. But who knows.

I wouldn't be jumping on any Indy RBs at least not to the point where I'm running to the WW right now to put in a claim and drop someone.

Teams will be stacking the box and making Richardson throw. It's gonna be tough sledding for whoever it is in that backfield.

I think they're worth a shot as potential trade pieces if you are just cutting defenses or kickers, but who knows! Maybe JT stays and plays for them, and they're all worthless.

12 team 1 PPR

QB - Lawerence
RB - McCaffery
RB - Breece Hall
WR - Waddle
WR - Mike Williams
TE - Mark Andrews
FLEX (RB/WR/TE) - TJ Hockensen
DEF - SF
K - Jason Meyers

Bench - Jordan Addison, Jamaal Williams, Kadarius Toney, Achane, Alle Lazard, Jameson Williams, D'Onta Formean

I think my only mistake in the draft was drafting Hockenson for my FLEX and not taking a better WR. So to fix it here's what I'm thinking...

Hockenson/Jameson Williams for Deebo

I'm throwing in Williams because I'm at the max for WRs and I'd have to drop him anyways plus he's suspended for 6 weeks. That a good deal for me?

Always draft the backup to McCaffrey due to his injury history

I've joined an existing league at my office - 1.0 PPR, 12 team, 6pt TD

1 QB
1 RB
2 WR
2 Flex
1 DST
1 K

what is the boards opinion on draft strategy? with no required TE and only 1 RB, it seems BPA is the best approach? seems the skill/thought in position/round is mostly gone.

My strategy every year is to go heavy on RB and WR's. Don't draft a backup QB, TE, DST, or Kicker. Let your whole bench be RB's and WR's. Usually one of them will break out and have a great season. If your star QB gets hurt for the season, you're screwed anyway. I also go early on top end TE and QB. There's a big drop off after the first 4 or 5 TE's.

Interesting. My work league was batting around the same no TE thing. It would eliminate the Kelce imbalance.

it is nice not to worry about TE competition - last year shows Kelce and Andrews were drafted in round 3 among 10 total TE's drafted.

the flex is RB/WR/TE so PPR still appeared to factor into the late round draft picks at the TE position.

In a full point PPR, with no TE, 1 RB, 2WR, and 2 Flex, I would think your roster should be heavy at WR as you should be starting 4 WRs each week (you could have Kelce or Andrews as a Flex if they fall to you in the draft, otherwise both your Flex should be WRs). At RB, you can either draft a premier back early (Bijan, CMC, Ekeler, Barkley, Pollard, Chubb), wait a couple more rounds and get Gibbs, or wait until round 4 or 5 for Walker, Matteson, Breece Hall, etc.
FightinTAC08

That's what I was thinking. I draft 11th in snake so was thinking of targeting a Chubb/pollard/Henry if they fall and then straight wr

Just found out I have the #1 pick in a 10 team PPR league. Jefferson or CMC?

Feeling pretty good about my draft tonight. 12 team 1 PPR:

QB - Lamar Jackson
RB - N. Harris
RB/WR - St. Brown
RB/WR - C. Kirk
WR - T. Hill
WR/TE: Aiyuk
Flex - Jamaal Williams
D - Ravens
K - Zuerlein

Bench - Smith Njigba, Van Jefferson, Perine, Schultz, Achane, Bigsby, KJ Osborn

That is a good-looking team, especially in a 12-man format.

Jamaal pairs nicely with JSN, Achane, and Bigsby since he should be able to take care of you early in the season during the AK suspension as you wait to see how those rookies look.

12-man PPR keeper league:
QB - Hurts (5th-round keeper)
RB - ETN (2.11)
RB - Rhamondre (3.2)
WR - Ja'Marr (1.2)
WR - Michael Pittman (4.11)
FLEX - Mike Williams (6.11)
FLEX - Zay Flowers (7.2)

Bench: Elijah Moore (8.11), Jamaal Williams (9.2), Rashaad Penny (10.11), Alexander Mattison (11th-round keeper), Jalin Hyatt (12.11), Bryce Young (13.2), Jeff Wilson (14.11), CJ Stroud (15.2)

Fourth pick of a 10-team 1-pt PPR...not sure how to feel about it so I've come to the internet for input! Yahoo standard scoring.

QB: Tua
RB: Bijan Robinson, Josh Jacobs, Breece Hall, Dameon Pierce, & Dalvin Cook
WR: DK Metcalf, Mike Evans, Brandin Cooks, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Skyy Moore, & Jakobi Meyers
TE: Darren Waller & Cole Kmet
D/ST: Philadelphia
K: Riley Patterson

Feels like my WRs fall off after DK and Mike Evans even though Brandin Cooks is getting a lot of love as the new #2 guy in Dallas.

You definitely have RB depth. Assuming you start 2 RBs and start an RB in your Flex, 2 of Bijan, Jacobs, Hall, Cook, and Pierce will be on your bench each week. Keep an eye on the light RB teams early in the season. Inevitably someone will lose a starting RB to injury and you might be able to use your RB depth to get a big time WR.

2nd pick here. Should I go chase or CMC? I had chase last year and had some frustrations and some oh my. CMC obviously worries me. I don't like having a top pick this year. Hoping girl with first pick goes CMC so I get JJ. I think that's possible.

PPR or non-PPR? In PPR, JJ and Chase are the consensus #1 and #2. That being said, if for whatever reason you don't feel comfortable drafting Chase, I don't think it's necessarily a problem if you decide to draft CMC at #2 overall.

PPR

On a side note, when setting draft order, do y'all go off of regular season record or final playoff bracket record for the teams that didn't make the playoffs? Obviously the 4 playoff teams are ranked by that but the other teams tend to slack off after regular season.

I've ended up with multiple shares of Saquon...thanks to drafting near the turn

hope he has a big year

in one league I have Saquon paired with Bijan (picks #10 & #11)

all the WR's went first...Kupp, Tyreek, Diggs, (and Kelce)
txagman1998

Both my leagues are fairly casual and use a randomized draft order.

I may be a bit of an outlier on this, but I think there is a really good chance that Bijan is the RB1 this year, even in PPR. Thus, I think you got a steal getting him at the Round 1/2 turn. I draft 4th in my 14-team PPR league and I am targeting Bijan (It helps that it's a start 2 WR league instead of start 3 WR).
Ag_07

You may be right come the end of the season but Bijan at 4 seems like quite the reach.

At that position I'd want a player with a higher floor than a rookie RB.
