One tidbit: I believe there to be a second team involved beyond the Dolphins, which would certainly change the dynamics.

PPR or non-PPR? In PPR, JJ and Chase are the consensus #1 and #2. That being said, if for whatever reason you don't feel comfortable drafting Chase, I don't think it's necessarily a problem if you decide to draft CMC at #2 overall.
