I know that it's easy to think of Tyron as an old & fragile man by NFL standards....
But every time I see him in the post game locker room speeches with his shirt off I'm reminded that he's the most impressive physical specimen of an offensive lineman I've ever seen. The dude still has a 6 pack. What a beast!

Offense disappeared for the 2nd and 3rd quarters, and then defense couldn't make a stop when it mattered. Very frustrating. Cowboys could've been playing for the 1 seed today with that win.
No. If we had won, SF would have played starters today and won their game which would have sent LA to Dallas instead of GB.
We were not winning the 1 seed and the way the table has been set for us as the #2 seed has played out perfectly.

I agree. We seem to be on the wrong side of playoff seeding a lot. But not this year! Our path to the NFC Championship will be GB and then either Detroit/Philly/ Tampa.
By far the easiest road we've had since 2007... which we unfortunately know how that turned out. Damn Giants catching lightening in a bottle!
Regardless of what happened afterwards, you don't kick a 50+ yard field goal on 4th and 1 in our first possession of the game with the best offensive line and probably the most explosive running back in the league at the time. That was prime zeke and the best our offensive line looked since the last Super Bowl winning team.
Garrett is a freaking ***** and has no business being a nfl coach. In the NFL, you have to play to win and he always played not to lose.
Bills win the AFC East to cap off an incredible day of football! Just awesome, one of the most entertaining days I can remember!

Just putting it out there that I'm kinda glad they blocked that FG. Now we don't have that constant stat jinx rolling into the playoffs. And it's not like he missed it and has to deal with the mental issues associated with that. As far as anyone knows the kick was still perfect. Nothing worse than lining up to kick a game winning FG in the playoffs and having that streak getting flashed a million times.

But I'm glad he had a chance to make one at the end of the game. He won't go into the playoffs knowing that he missed his last kick. The guy has been amazing, but kickers can be a strange breed sometimes after they start missing.
I wanted to point out that we are almost at the 1 year mark of Pollards injury... and in the last 2-3 weeks he's just now starting to show flashes of who he was last year.
He just looks like a slippery back again and he's getting through a lot of arm tackles that were bringing him down earlier in the year. And that catch he made yesterday down the field... that was beautiful.
If he can be a somewhat lesser version of CMC going into the playoffs this offense should have no problem scoring points!

Any of that sound familiar? 31 years later and the table is set once again. Will be interesting to see if the playoffs play out in the same way (we can only hope!). Just looking at Corum, as some here suggested him as a cowboys pick, he's had like 650 carries. That's a lot of miles on those tires

I haven't watched enough to be an expert, but he's not explosive enough for my taste. If you are an undersized back, you better be explosive as hell.
And yes, I'm not a fan of college backs with a ton of carries. It's why I wanted nothing to do with Charbonnet last year... too many miles and not explosive enough.

They have some glaring OLine issues to address…Tyron age and health, Biadasz is about to become a free agent, Zack's age…I would imagine one of those first two picks is O lineman.
Pretty sure Tyron's contract is also up and I'm pretty sure it was considered a very team friendly deal, especially when compared to current contracts for elite LTs.
I wonder if Bass is the heir apparent to Martin. From what I've seen and heard he is doing a great job as a sub right now. Maybe after another year of seasoning he could take over at RG. Obviously he would be no Zack, like Biadsz is no Frederick.Vince Blake said:

The weak link at OL is Steele and we are stuck with him for another year or two after giving him a big ass new contract. He was the lowest PFF graded starting OT in the NFL from what I read.
