I don't think we can control that... it's all based on who wins/loses in the Wild Card round.
That being said, what we can control is who we play in the wild card... if we are the #1 WC team we'll play whoever wins the south... and Lord help us if we can't beat that team.

If Detroit is the #1 seed and we are the top Wild Card seed, we would play the winner of the South which we should easily win. I have no doubt that Philly and SF would win their games... that would mean we play at Detroit the following week and Philly and SF have to play each other.
Assuming we can't win the division, that is 100% the NFC playoff bracket we need to happen!

Yep the one thing this defense lacks is a dog in the middle. Watching that game last night, what I'd give to have a Chris Jones or Jalen Carter.

Right now, he is the best CB in the NFL.
If his name was Sauce Gardner or Jalen Ramsey, he would 100% be the leading candidate for Defensive Player of the Year right now. He'd also be getting serious MVP consideration since there isn't really that 1 QB standing above the rest right now.
4 pick sixes is insanity. The ONLY thing holding him back is the fact that a lot of people never heard of him 4 weeks ago.

Wow! Colts just released Shaq Leonard. He's struggled with injuries recently but still a good player. That's definitely a guy that could help this team.

I know very little about the situation... but based on a couple quick reads, it sounds like a guy who was an all world LB but had 2 back surgeries and can't really play anymore.
We had a guy like that once, except it was a knee and everybody said that he'd never play again... but we drafted him in the 2nd round anyway and even gave him a 2nd contract.

I've watched a few colts game and he can still play. Broadus studied his film and confirmed on the fan. PFF has him graded pretty high as well. I like Clark/ Bell but Leonard would be an upgrade.

Yes but gotta imagine he's not going to sign with any bottom feeders. He's supposedly really close with Gilmore too. Who knows where he lands but it better not be with the damn Eagles.

Technically no... you could sign him before, but you'd have to pick up his contract which nobody wants to do. He will clear waivers and then he can sign a new deal with whoever he wants.
If the guy can still play it's a good move I guess. Sounded to me like Indy was playing rookies over him so I just assumed that he was all used up. We did NOTHING to make our team better at the trade deadline so I'm good with it.

Seattle is about to get their doors blown off.
Mine was even worse, I started the Arizona game thread which is why I won't start one again this season.
That game is still mind blowing and really ****s things up. Cowboys at 9-2 would still have a great shot at controlling their own destiny for home field, but being 8-3 means they badly need help down the stretch. I.E. someone (multiple) has to beat the eagles, but they have a magical horseshoe so far up their ass that I'm skeptical the niners and/or bills can help us out. I do feel good about the cowboys beating them at home, though.
