On #Texans and wide receiver position in light of Keenan Allen comments, my understanding is what they're looking for is highly specific. And many of the players they've been linked to in other trade rumors are inaccurate per sources close to respective situations. Unavailable…

Not sure I agree about the Steelers. They were almost in the playoffs without a competent QB. Russ is expensive but he's going to be asked to run play action and complete safe routes. Much like he did with SEA. I see them as clearing the deck for him.
WR Tee Higgins is drawing interest from the #Texans. Per @JakeEckbergNFL

Nick Caserio has been testing the WR market and tried landing Keenan Allen. Can he land Higgins?
If that's something Caserio is working on, which I'm not convinced of, I'm guessing the Bengals would be targeting a second round pick from us this year. Basically Caserio would be flipping our 1st round pick this year into Tee Higgins + his new contract, and a 2nd round pick next year. Higgins I'm guessing wants more money than Calvin Ridley who just got a deal for $23MM/season with $50MM guaranteed.IrishAg said:
Pittman is mediocre and Deebo is always injured but I'd say most of those guys deserve that $$.Texan_Aggie said:
That's a lot of mediocre receivers getting high money. Don't think we do that unless CJ is very adamant.
With no picks until the second round that'll take Murphy and Newton off the board. If they do take a DT in the second then it's going to be T'Vondre Sweat, Kris Jenkins, Braden Fiske or Ruke Orhorhoro. Sweat is the size of a small building so he's going to be more of an asset against the run than the pass. I think Jenkins could be a good grab. Orhorhoro is a project, he's probably more of a third round prospect.Ag_07 said:
I'm also wondering why they're focused on WR when DT is a mess.
They don't have one starting caliber DT on the roster. It's pretty bad.
I think Fatukasi is going to be one of the starters, he knows the defense and actually had good stats for a nose tackle with the Jets.ds00 said:
Four headed DT monster of Fatukasi, Hinish, Settle, and Davis? Autry on passing downs

im just disappointed the Roughnecks came up with a great H oil derrick logo and wasted it. And not they have a worse versiontexasaggie2015 said:
Not bad. The font seems a little XFL to me. I'll need to see more angles/pic before casting judgement.
This Texans "leak" is making the rounds on Reddit. You never know, but consider me in the "not buying it" camp. Stingley's number but not Stingley. And I'm expecting all of the redesigns this year to be in the standard Vapor FUSE template. pic.twitter.com/24iMtgMYHv

Again...from those who saw everything last week (or the week before), there is a lot more coming. This is just the white uniform.Mr.Bond said:
So no Columbia blue? This is like lipstick on a pig. Boo
Agree, I wish we would make the red helmets the primary. They look so goodMr.Bond said:
Hope so I was under the impression that Columbia blue would be a primary color moving forward. I just don't see it anywhere in this uniform. I didn't realize it was just going to be an alternate color I don't know any organization that does that. Wish we'd ditch navy helmet for red
