That roughing call is ridiculous and the announcing supporting it is pathetic
It seems to get harder every year to figure out why the money printer that is the NFL can't figure out how to officiate games better. The amount of seemingly basic mistakes that happen every week with no mechanism to fix them is baffling.

While the Texans are playing much better better than the esteelers right now, this game is a good object lesson for how you have to take advantage of every opportunity as the road team in a playoff game against a superior opponent. The INT in the eZ at the end of a long drive was such a back breaker.

Yep. The QB slide draws a penalty 50% of the time.
Nantz and Romo quickly jumped on to defend the refs.
Hard to win this time of year with a 3rd string QB.
Josh Allen gets a lot of roughing calls because a lot of times he doesn't slide and puts a shoulder down.
Defenses are put in a tough spot when he runs it and they can't always just let up early.

Rudolph was way better than Pickett across the board, albeit in a smaller sample size. Pickett was 7-5, Trubisky 0-2, and Rudollph 3-0 to get them in them in the playoffs.LB12Diamond said:

Number two offense in the league also only scored 19 points on them and threw 4 picks. But IMO CJ is the best QB they've played all year. Burrow was hobbled 1st game against them and got hurt in the 1st qtr 2nd time. I think CJ is better than Tua especially at throwing in tight windows, which is what you have to be able to do against them. On a side note, you wouldn't expect a team that's been leading with positive game script most of the year to only be 14th in run defense.
