I won't say what I want to, but we all know why that is the design. Hideous.
Sit, Tex, sit.

You realize that Paul Wall is white, right?Cynic said:

I'm not sure how many (if any) of you guys went to school in HISD, but that logo rings true of the style of a lot of high school stuff from back then - Yates, etc. - and I think it looks great. I'd rather have something unique than the cookie cutter red / white/ teal crap that half the league does.
To each their own, but growing up in the actual city of Houston means a lot to a lot of people, including myself.pagerman @ work said:The Porkchop Express said:

Don't know that aspiring to look like HISD should be the goal of a professional football team.

These are floating around as well and would prefer this over the purported Texans leaks.

sure, but Houston is also a transplant city and this doesn't resonate with a lot of people. Wonder if they had any of the Luxe members as part of the panelsThe Porkchop Express said:To each their own, but growing up in the actual city of Houston means a lot to a lot of people, including myself.pagerman @ work said:The Porkchop Express said:

I meant white white people
It's not. It was created with the input of the people that actually buy merchandise.pagerman @ work said:The Porkchop Express said:

The home and away are fine. Weird that they wouldn't have a matching design for those. Battle red is good aside from that God awful helmet. My favorite is probably the H-town blue, but it does look a little too similar to the Titans.
They teased this out for way too long and there was way too much build up. Short of bringing the Oilers back, nothing they could have done would live up to the hype they have created. Would expect these will be very polarizing within the fanbase and will be largely dunked on by other fanbases.
Why the hell does anyone care what other fanbases think.Texan_Aggie said:This is the Texans way.Crispin Torque said:

Looks like an air bushed hat from the mall or an independent rap album artwork.

I get that it's not a lot of people's style, but those alts are going to be nation wide hits and be in 10 rap videos a year from now making the Texans a cult of fashion like the Raiders.
And yes, you don't have to like it, but from a marketing standpoint, it's genius.
To be fair, one of the reasons I'm not a fan is because they basically didn't update the primary uniform at all except the shape of the numbers. Why did that require all the hype?Ag_07 said:
TexAgs - Texans uniforms are boring and outdated. I can't wait until they get new unis.
Also TexAgs - WTF?!?!?! These new uniforms are the ugliest shlt I've ever seen.
