That's an odd signing. Either OBJ is failing physicals and the ravens are desperate or he knows something new about Lamar's status with the team.

Wow... I completely forgot he was a 2nd round pick and they didn't get the fifth year of his rookie deal, so I guess they had to do this. But that timing sucks big time, he's only had one good/great year and the OC that helped to drive that year is gone.

I understand investing in your QB, but making him the highest paid player in NFL history after 1 good/great year is a big time roll of the dice, even if you didn't lose your OC.
