No, I'm kind of with you to a degree. I assume there's some money being donated to something. But this is primarily just virtue signaling by the NFL.

Reminds me of the sign in my neighbor's yard that says something like "End gun violence". I always think: Yeah, we're probably all on the same page here. Plus, taking 30 seconds to hammer a sign into the dirt is making zero difference.
