I'm not gonna bich too much about the run. There have been far fewer wtf gameplans in 2022 because they learned to lean on it. Did have some wtf moments late, but overall, I can live with it. It keeps putting up 28+ every week and numerous times 40+ since Dak got back; that's #1 in the league level production by a wide margin. But this defense has spring some major leaks and a bad run D likely just got worse with the LVE injury

They used it once today and it worked well.

Would have been a perfect call on 1st down to ice the game. Instead we ran a draw to Zeke and lost 3 yards.
41 runs for 154 yards is not really good.

The Bears would take that against the Chiefs, but yeah, the Dallas O shouldn't be trying to pour wet concrete on the game.

Go back on that last play that got Jax in FG range to end the game. I don't know how D. Wilson missed at least tipping that ball. Amazing how something like literally a fingernail turns that game.

We won't win w/Dak as QB. Yes, he took us 98 yds. against the WORST team in the league. But he doesn't have "it". This is bad loss #2 under his leadership this season.

I honestly had more faith in Romo than I do Dak. Dak is a good player but there is just something off about him that doesn't give me a lot of confidence. Maybe it's the lack of consistency.

Maybe the Cowboys can point at an unlucky bounce to give the defense a walkoff touchdown.

At least they're not the Patriots receiver who literally threw the ball to the Raiders defensive lineman for the game winning score.

Same here. I'd have more faith in Romo w this team but I'm also I'm the Romo was underrated camp as well so maybe not that objective

Been thinking about that 3rd down when they threw the ball and allowed Jax to keep that last TO.

The frustrating part to me is McCarthy hides behind analytics when you go ultra conservative on 1st and 2nd down. To me, i don't give a S what the analytics says, that's dumb football.

If you want to get the first down and end the game, don't run right into the back of your OL two plays in a row. The first two plays then ask your QB to convert a 3rd and 12.

Yep. And the worst part is they threw a hope and a prayer. At the very least throw a crossing route or something short of the sticks to at least keep the clock running.

And I don't blame Dak. Go back and watch it. They went max protect w 3 guys in the route. CD literally had 3 guys covering him. Poor play design and didn't even really give your QB a chance.

You can't go ultra conservative first two downs and then ask your QB to bail you out like that! Crazy.


Having said that, the D is very worrisome.
