I have a league mate who is really raising a fuss about people "stashing" guys on IR similar to this. Wants it to not be allowed. Have told him it's a systemic setting, I believe you can have active guys in IR in both ESPN and Yahoo leagues, maybe more. You just can't add guys to your team when someone who isn't out is in IR.

Any of y'all outlaw this? If so, do you just monitor it weekly as league manager? May start a one off thread, but this post reminded me of it.

I for one have no problem with this "stashing." To me, not being able to add is a big hamstring in a 16 team league.

If I had known Higgins tweaked his hammy in warmups I would have started Aiyuk who has 56 yards and a TD. How is it legal to lie about injuries and it's the second time Taylor has done that with the same damn player.

In our ESPN league you can have someone in the IR as long as you want, but once they are healthy, you can't make any other add/drop moves until you either put them on your real roster or drop them altogether. That seems fair.

Overall, I am a big proponent of stashing guys on the bench just so other teams can't use them, but you shouldn't be able to keep making moves with a healthy guy on the IR.
