I am leading my opponent this week by only 4.2 pts. He has had Graham Gano (bye week) in his kicker position all weekend. Currently Will Lutz is a free agent, so he could pick him up right now. I also have Mark Andrews TE who is out, but picked up Isaiah Likely...so should I..

Drop Likely and pick up Lutz to prevent my opponent from picking him up and thereby securing the win? I have no available IR slot to put Andrews in and pickup Lutz without dropping Likely. Or should I just roll with Likely and hope Lutz doesn't outscore him by 4.2pts or hope my opponent doesn't make the Lutz pickup?

If there's no league rule, unwritten or otherwise, that requires you to field a full team then you pick up Lutz and guarantee the victory.

Only reason not to is if you are chasing points for a weekly payout.

Not sure id drop likely for this. If this is a ppr league I think you take the chance that likely +4 is enough.

Are you an ass? If so, pick up Lutz, and no one will think any different of you. If not, I suggest you quickly become one.

But seriously, if your opponent hasn't taken care of this by now, how much does he/she really care? Do what you need to secure a win.

Also if you own Darrel Henderson this is his time to shine/drop, I've been saying to drop him for a backup kicker since wk 2 yet people inexplicably continued to own him

If not try to trade for him before tonight so you can drop him for Lutz
