In preparation for waivers I need to clean house on the bench. I hate myself for the fact that I've wound up with three "Tight Ends" on my roster.

Drafted Hockensen
Picked up Taysom Hill when he got hot (primarily for bye week fill-in)
Picked up Schultz once we knew Dak was back.

Gotta drop Hill with Winston likely coming back. I still don't like having 2 TE's on the roster. Hock or Schultz ROS? 10 team PPR. Could probably hold off one more week with those two on the roster to see things play out.

Maybe you can trade Schultz to the Njoku owner for some decent WR3 like Bateman.

I'd look to drop Hock first. Then keep Hill through the cowboys bye week. Hockensen hasn't done anything with Amon in the line up and with Jameson coming back from injury soon and Swift likely eating up the underneath targets there won't be much going his way.

Some good thoughts. I just keep having flashbacks to the week I almost missed out on Hock's 40pt game to play T. Hill. Completely irrelevant at this point, I can't shake it though.

CMC addition to SF roster appears as if it will negatively impact Deebo (and maybe actually help Aiyuk and Kittle). ...and now Deebo has a hamstring injury.

Tough one for several reasons, but I think I'm benching Edwards on the short week coming off his injury. I like him for as long as JK is out, and probably playing him myself in a couple of leagues this week due to lack of options (and pending Swift's health), but might be at the bottom of that list.

would have to decide on starting Bateman for Thursday.. and likely won't know anything about Deebo before then.. so I guess Meyers it will be if Deebo can't go. Ooof.

Defense conundrum
DAL vs Chicago
Eagles vs Steelers

I know I know 2 defenses. Dallas has a bye next week and I'm not dropping the number 1 defense. I will be hard pressed to drop a top 5 defense in Philly with their schedule. Im leaning toward the eagles since Chicago showed a willingness to let fields run last week and Pickett will force things when behind.

Flip a coin. The Bears did show some signs of life vs. the Patriots last week, who are no slouches of defense. The steelers have been pretty underwhelming against everybody.

I'm with you though, you kinda gotta hang onto both of those defenses now.. Philly's next 4 games are Pitt, Hou, Wash, and Indy

you absolutely keep those two defenses and ride them through playoffs and to the championship.

flip a coin in week 8, as they both have good matchups and fantasypros ranks them #1 and #2 overall for week 8. Both playing at home. I can see either or both of Pickett or Fields throwing a few INTs!

Appreciate the insight on this one. Agree that it's a tough call, but I think your call is right. Edwards is already questionable this week and getting limited practices, so might be best to have him as odd man out. Next week should be better for Gus with extra rest, and then the bye week after that.

Kadarius Toney traded to the Chiefs! Will he magically be healthy now?

Kadarius Toney to the Chiefs. Worth a stash? I would have to drop Wan'dale Robinson to pick him up.

I'm not sure what to think of Toney. Before the season we were told he was 4th on the depth chart and kind of at odds with the coaches and nothing he's done has proven that wrong. In fact it's pretty clear the coaches considered him a problem. So was his injury designation just cover and he's actually healthy?
