Starting this thread a little early since it looks like Hollywood Brown may be done for the season (I have him in both my 0.5PPR and 1.0PPR leagues).

Further testing needed to confirm, but hopefully we will know by Tuesday. Cardinals just traded for Robbie Anderson, so they obviously aren't optimistic.

All that being said, who is the priority waiver claim this week, Robbie Anderson or Rondale Moore? Hopkins is unavailable in both my leagues.

The fight to get a piece of that Arizona offense that was just outscored by their defense in a game against Seattle 6-3 is going to be FIERCE! I do agree that Hopkins, Moore & Ertz will all have good PPR value. I wouldn't want Anderson taking up a bench spot on my roster for a couple weeks waiting to see if he is worth playing.

Carson Wentz is likely out 4-6 weeks. So that Redskins offense is going to be going from bad to awful.

worth checking to see if Carlson hit the waiver wire.

also if the New England D/ST is still on the waiver wire

FYI, per Rapoport, Hollywood Brown injury may only be 6 weeks. If you have a deep bench or IR spot, you may be able to stash him for a few weeks and potentially get him back for the fantasy playoffs.

that DHop stash in one of my leagues is looking tasty.

At TE should I go Taysom Hill vs Arizona, or Darren Waller (if healthy) vs Houston this week?

PPR is a bit more difficult but I'd go Taysom. Cincy has a salty defense, especially their defensive line so I figured Hill would have a poor game last week. Arizona not so much. I think the Saints will move the ball well against them and then Taysom will get some redzone work that will end up in paydirt.

Week 7: Tua v PITT or Geno @ LAC
ROS: Tua or Geno

...I see Matt Ryan had a day in week 6, throwing 58 passes, 3 TDs, scoring over 27 FF points... there's another option I guess.

Very slight lean towards Tua, this week and ROS. Would prefer not to drop Geno though as I think he still has value. Again, another example that shows that if you don't have a top 6 QB, it's really difficult to decide who to start week to week.

FWIW, on a PPG basis (ESPN 4pt passing TD), Geno is QB8 season to date and Tua is QB10. This week, Geno is projected as QB5 and Tua projected as QB8.

I'd lean Geno. You are 1 big hit away from a 4 pt QB performance for Tua. Tua has more upside though.

Chargers should score against Seattle. So Seattle should be in a position to throw the ball and score. Which means Geno should have a decent floor and hopefully a healthy Lockett to pair with DK.

yes, that's the issue with Tua.

high risk he won't finish the game

regarding week 7 byes...

anyone planning to hold onto Tyler Bass and/or the Philadelphia D/ST?

I have both on one of my teams.

going to swap out kickers and see if I can get Bass back.

will have to drop a bench WR --- D.London or J.Meyers --- to keep the Eagles D/ST

I'd drop bass and find a way to keep the eagles.

yep.. in the draft, when Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Mahommes, went really early, I decided to say, "F it", and wait for a QB... I actually thought it was going to turn out well because Russell Wilson fell to me so late and I had high hopes for him on a new team. ...but I've been chasing QB points ever since week 3... Trevor Lawrence, Tua, Geno... they suck the week I pick them up. Last week was Geno's week.

I think you're going to want Bass for ROS unless there's a really good K out there. but I know you're going to need PHI later this season and for FF playoffs and you might want 2-3 DEF's by the time playoffs come around based on matchups. Not sure who else is on your roster as regular WR starters and if you have enough to manage bye weeks, but I doubt you'll miss London or Meyers that much, nor will some opponent come back around and win the league or beat you with London or Meyers later this year.

Wait you are thinking of dropping D. London to keep a D/ST on the bench? D. London is ROS top 25 rated WR. Meyers is fringe playable and I'd be concerned Thorton might take more of the opportunities away. https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/rankings/ros-ppr-wr.php

Drop the Kicker. He is ranked 12th on the season. I am blown away by people's kicker loyalty. FGs are up big time across the league. Just don't get the cardinals kicker!

I'm dropping Bass for sure.

however the Eagles D/ST is the #4 fantasy defense (in this league) thru 6 weeks. And Philly's upcoming schedule is very attractive with the Steelers, Texans, and Washington next.

at WR...Lamb, Evans, and Sutton are my weekly starters. London is the overall WR32 in this league. But in the last 4 weeks London is the WR58 -- woof. Opponents appear to have adjusted

texagbeliever

If you want to keep the eagles drop Meyers. Thornton and Wan'dayle are more exciting adds this week then Meyers at WR in my book from an upside perspective. And with your WRs, I'd rather have high upside potential guys over 6 catches 60 yards week in and out kind of guy.

I know London has been in a slump recently but I think teams are going to adjust to making Mariota beat them again. Falcons won 3 of the last 4 (close loss to Tampa). They also just lost a starting CB so I could see them falling behind and looking to comeback. In that case Mariota has a WR1 and a TE to throw it to.

I'm in the same boat, as are lots of other players. Drafting QB early has been the "fish" strategy for the last few years, but this season, it was the "nut" strategy. Will be really interesting to see how this affects drafts next year. There will be a lot of players that will be scarred from what has happened this year and will chase QB/TE in the very early rounds next year.

Christian Kirk or Brandon Aiyuk at WR2 this week with JJ on bye? Aiyuk is tempting since I'm assuming they'll have to throw against KC.

needing to replace Josh Allen and Goedart this wk, but with a comfortable 1st place lead I'm considering rolling TE-less since my most droppable bench player is AGibson which I'll need to swap in a QB

would still be the matchup underdog but debating whether it'd be worth letting go of Mattison for a shot at an extra 5-6pts from a Hockinson/Friermuth. Don't own Cook (Henry/Kamara/Walker/Conner/Dobbins -can start 3) but also don't want to give him away to the 2nd place Cook owner with a strong roster and top waiver priority

so if rolling with a hole in lineup should I grab Goff @Dal (with ARSB and maybe Swift back), or go with the JimmyG/Deebo stack vs KC

also trying to deal something like Conner+MThomas for Evans to make room but tough to trade in this league

MIA vs PIT: good matchup but MIA is a bad defense with a very explosive offense. Managed -2 points against the Jets.
TEN vs IND: Matt Ryan had some success against them a few weeks ago. Pittman is fully healthy this go round.
LV vs HOU: See Mia vs Pit comment.
AZ vs NO: Do this if you want to throw your remote at the screen when Taysom Hill runs for his 2nd TD.
NYG @ JAX: Probably the best defense of the 5. I'd pick them. Lawrence has had some dreadful games.

In one of my leagues, I have Jalen Hurts, Justin Jefferson, Dallas Goedert, DeVonta Smith, Bills D/ST, and Tyler Bass all on bye...we only have five bench spots so I would have to gut my roster to compete this week. I think I am just going to eat the L.

NYJ is a sneaky streaming DST this week at Denver, the lowest scoring team in the league (PPG). NYJ was DST2 (Yahoo) last week after throttling the Packers in GB, and is DST9 on the season, in the top half of the league in sacks and top 6 in interceptions. I picked them up in one league after the J-Ville disaster last week.

why is fantasypros start/sit and week 7 rankings suggesting that I should start Tyler Lockett over DeAndre Hopkins? that's crazy right? Or am I crazy? It's a Thursday and it's DHop's first game back, but AZ is at home and just lost Hollywood as well as Conner. DHop is a must start, right?

Does hopkins turn a terrible offense into a good one? Or decent?

I would like Lockett this week. I think Seattle will actually need to score points this week and will let Geno throw it much more. Last week I think they decided even their worst in the league defense could shut down the cards and just needed not to lose it.

All that said I think it is a coin flip.

Marshon Lattimore ruled out for the Saints.

that's another plus for starting D-Hop
