Oof. That's tough. I don't like Wentz's new injury and a short week Thursday road game. ...and I don't like Wentz anyway.. but he will probably throw it the most and give you the best chance for a few TD passes. Jimmy's match-up is good. Daniel is at home and might get you some rushing TD.

Pick up Geno. But I suspect maybe on a roster already.

in my 8 team PPR league, of course every team seems stacked and there's a lot of talent out there for the waiver taking. DHop is out there, coming off suspension in week 7, I think I should grab him now, but who to drop? or maybe just leave him out there for someone else since he's coming off injury and suspension and Hollywood has established himself there in his absence?

My WRs are: Kupp, ARSB, Deebo, Lockett, and Drake London.
My RBs are: Saquon, Breece Hall, Josh Jacobs, Dameon Pierce, and I have a claim to drop Jamaal and grab Ken Walker now that Jamaal is done with bye week and Swift returning after that.
Holding two TEs: Kelce and Ertz, and I don't think I'd want to let a top 4-5 TE in Ertz go to an opponent in an 8 team league
Holding only 1 Q, K, and D.

fantasypros has them ranked Geno-Cousins-Rogers as QBs 9, 10, 11 respectively for week 6, but I think I'd start Geno and Rogers since they're both at home and Cousins @ MIA could be a tough one.

1. Better ROS option: Aaron Rogers or Geno Smith?

2. Which is better stash vs which to drop now that starters are back: Khalil Herbert or Jamaal Williams? (With Najee busting and Damien Harris out multiple weeks, I need RB help badly. Don't see any good options, but I'm going to put a claim for Brian Robinson and hope he takes over before too long.)

3. With Freiermuth leaving with a concussion and having a concussion history, I think I need a TE not only for week 6 and PIT's week 9 bye, but possibly weeks 6-9 or even ROS. Claim for Taysom or Hurst? -or considering offering Freiermuth + JuJu or Bateman for Ertz - fair?

I think I like Breece better for ROS. ROS rankings are close though.

They might badly want to get their hands on Breece. Either reject it or counter to see if they'll add to the pot with Kamara?

James Conner inexplicably dropped in this round of claims

have saved up to #1 waiver priority mainly waiting for the usual once per season egregious drop, this has to be it and a no brainer #1 claim right? gotta imagine there won't be another consistent double digit touch rb on the wire

in 1st place with pretty decent rb depth Henry/Kamara/Dobbins/Walker(drafted and held)/Gibson/Mattison/Perine (can start 3) but feel like this should be a claim now deal later

yeah, I'd use the #1 priority on Conner just to hoard the talent away from opponents. Even if he ends up being out this week, he'll be back to a #1 back next week and you'll be loaded with trade bait if you need it.


my only TE is Freiermuth. He's been serviceable and was a top 5-6 TE (top 2-3 after the steep drop from Kelce and Andrews to everybody else) before leaving early with the concussion last week. There have been zero updates on him since Sunday's concussion. I'm worried he's done, but maybe he's fine. Would it be a fair offer if I propose to the Goedert + Njoku owner: Freiermuth + JuJu for Njoku? Is that even a good move for me? I don't want to be chasing Njoku's one good week two weeks ago and Freiermuth end up being fine.

I've been using Goedert all season and picked Hill up off waivers this week. Since the eagles are playing Dallas, I'm sort of leaning Hill here

I hate saying this, but I'd go Hill.

TE are all very similar outside the top two or three. They all are touchdown dependent. I think hill gives you the best shot at that touchdown. Otherwise they are all 3 for 43 yards.

Goedart has comfortably hit double digits in ppr every week, depends if you're favored and just want a safe floor or need to go high risk/reward

I wouldn't start Montgomery. I'd also look to trade for a WR/TE/QB upgrade depending on your roster. Unless you are on a 6 team league. Id go after Jamar Chase or Ceedee Lamb.

std scoring fantasyPros ranks them like this ^^ and I tend to agree with that. Rhamondre is in a SMASH spot if Damien H is out. After that, I think it's a toss-up between Fournette and Cook. Cook has a better matchup. I feel like Ken Walker III or JWJ could blow up as both have some swiss cheese run D matchups, but you play your studs and if you're going to put a 3rd RB in at flex, I don't think you're going to bench the other of Cook/Fournette.

For ROS roster spots, I'd be looking at dangling Montgomery out there as trade bait.

yeah good call - will start looking for some trade action. roster is pretty good, could use some other WRs other than Evans & Sutton.

I'm tempted to start Brian Robinson over Christian Kirk because of how bad the Bears' run defense is...thoughts?

Id rather start Eno with Conner playing then Robinson tonight. Kirk has the best ceiling by far and id only start Eno over him if Conner is riled out or doubtful.

The guy has a ceiling of 17 points or so. Is unlikely to get more than 15 carries. Average around 2.5 on 9 carries last week. Short week for a rookie taking his first NFL hits so likely banged up.

after a few trade proposals, I have not been able to offload some combo of Najee + a WR (JuJu or Bateman) for a serviceable RB. ..so I'll be stuck starting Najee for at least another week. Not expecting him to blow and be able to sell him next week vs TB defense either.

at PPR flex, I'm looking at Olave, who is questionable from concussion and hasn't practiced yet this week, then Bateman, who is also questionable and hasn't practiced the last two weeks, then Damien Harris, who is listed as questionable, but earlier reports were that he'd miss multiple weeks with hamstring injury, which brings me to my 2nd to last option a Thursday night prayer hoping Brian Robinson Jr has fully taken over from Gibson and will shred the Bears defense tonight.. I suppose the best move is my last option, the getting close to drop-able JuJu Smith-Schuster vs BUF. ... should I consider Brian Robinson tonight or wait until Sunday to see if any of my questionable guys suit up and start Juju if they're all OUT?

Guy just dropped Goff on waivers today and I have the #1 waiver spot. With Carr and Daniel Jones as my QBs, should i use my #1 on him? or try to ride it out and see if he is available tomorrow? or should I not bother with Goff at all?

Wait on Goff. Bye week then Cowboys. No one is going to use him as a streaming option next 2 game weeks.

I was also not able to package Freiermuth with anyone and trade for someone else's 2nd TE on a couple of proposals.. .. with Freiermuth being my only TE and still questionable (DNP on Wednesday), my DROP options to grab a streamer TE:

1. drop Jamaal Williams (bye week and Swift should be returning next week)
2. drop Freiermuth (history of concussions - could be done, but I should probably wait for updates?)
3. keep waiting for any one of my Questionable guys (Freiermuth, D. Harris, Bateman, Olave) to be listed as OUT, then drop Tua who is currently in my IR spot, & move one of those other guys to the IR spot for this week.

I think I prefer option #3, but that could require waiting until Sunday morning for one of those other four guys to change from Q to OUT, which means, I may not be able to add the one available TE with the highest ceiling: Taysom Hill. ...as you all know, TE options suck.. if someone else jumps on Hill first, I'm looking at Tonyan, Brate maybe? Engram had 10 targets for JAX last week. Dissly?

Id drop friermuth for Hill now. Possibly even Engram. Engram/dissly/friermuth/tonyan are all same level of guy in my book.
