Fault McCarthy and Moore all you want but they've done a helluva job considering the injuries suffered.
I'd have taken 2-1 with a fully healthy squad considering the schedule.

The cowboys play differently with rush. They don't abandon the run as quickly and let the opposing defense dictate the throwing opportunities. Dak is really good; however, Dallas flips to a pass heavy script way too quickly and Dak is then throwing against tighter coverage.

Agree. The play calling is way more efficient with rush. Hoping Moore learns from this and calls games the same.

Couldn't agree more. Would love to see Dak go into a game with this type of a game plan. Balanced…lots of play action…very similar to when Dak was a rookie.

It seems like a lot of the time, Dak is just trying to do too much at the LOS.

I agree with them playing differently with Rush. I don't agree that Dak is very good recently. He was very good early on in his career, but he plays timid now, in my opinion. It's like he's afraid of getting injured. He's regressed, IMO, and wasn't good against Tampa Bay. Guess we'll see when he returns, because they will go right back to him no doubt once he's healed up.

I think Kellen Moore and actually the entire coaching staff is benefiting from this Cooper Rush era. I just hope they take that and apply it when Dak is back. This team is a lot deeper than we thought. Young guys stepping up all over.

The guy has a higher career passer rating than Tom Brady or Peyton Manning and he's not really good? Cowboys fans are ridiculous.

Good divisional road win. Defense is playing solid.

Really need to cut down on the PENALTIES. Felt like more than 8 but there were quite a few declined. Especially all the holding.

What is really good?
My barometer for really good is if the QB throws for 300 yards and 3 TDs and people consider that a good but not great game for the guy. That is why I say Dak is really good. Is he elite like prime Tom Brady or Mahomes? No. Is he great like Burrow level? I'd say close but not quite.

But Dak is still really good and can keep up in a shootout but you probably don't want to get into a shootout.

Every actual football analyst I listen to believes Dak is Very Good to Elite as a cerebral QB. He doesn't have the physical tools of Allan/Herbert/Mahomes.. but in terms of playing the position he is right up there. The way this team is built with the running game seemingly repaired, I don't want my QB throwing for 300 yards. Last year the running game vanished, that's why Dak looked mediocre.

This year he gets Tampa in week one and they probably have the best defense in the league. Aaron Rodgers didn't look good against them either.
