Looks like ridley is suspended for the 2022 year

A source informed of the NFL's investigation into Calvin Ridley's gambling tells me the bets did involve the #Falcons.

The NFL's statement says the investigation "uncovered no evidence indicating any inside information was used or that any game was compromised in any way."

• He was placed on NFI on Nov. 5. The bets happened from Nov. 23-28.

• It was a series of less-than-10 wagers from his cell phone, including 3-, 5- and 8-game parlays.

• He did bet on the Falcons, but never against them.

So how did Calvin Ridley get busted? He was in Florida, and used the only gambling app legal in the state. The app notified a compliance company the NFL has hired called Genius for this kind of thing.

That he was out of state was a factor in Ridley's activity being flagged.

NFL determined that Calvin Ridley placed multi-legged parlay bets involving 3, 5 and 8 games that included the Falcons to win, per source. Investigation determined there was no involvement from any team players, coach etc. placed via his mobile device out of state.

Honestly if he never bet against his team I don't see the issue. Is it a league rule? Or is it because he has inside information? I'm always curious if trainers etc that have inside info are gambling?

Interesting, Williams and Berryhill got 6 games because while they bet money, they weren't betting on NFL games.

Crazy that you would risk millions of dollars in the form of paychecks to gamble on games. And clearly not very good at hiding it.

OK, reading an article it is apparently from them betting in a NFL facility on non-NFL games. So, they aren't allowed to gamble at all from any NFL facilities, outside they still can.

I am betting (but not in an nfl facility) that there are so many gambling warning signs in the facility and they get multiple reminders to not gamble that there are a lot of players thinking those guys are idiots.

- If you bet on NFL games not involving your team: At least one year suspension.

- If it involves your team: Minimum TWO years.

- Betting on non-NFL games in team facility: 2 games for first violation, 6 games for second, at least one year for third.

- Attempting to fix games: Banished from the NFL.

- Inside information and/or tipping: Minimum one year.

- Third party or proxy betting: Minimum one year

That would make me hesitant to use that betting app. Who else are they ratting out their users to? IRS, FBI?
