This is why Peyton is better than your favorite coach. It was obvious that the correct play was to take a shot. No excuse for biting on play action. You don't want any QB operating on a compressed field, especially not your backup. I wouldn't have even played the run that set of downs.

Flea flickers and reverses drive me nuts. Lots of risky ballhandling jackassery way behind your LOS and they rarely ever work for anything meaningful. They expired as useful trick plays about 30-40 years ago
