Cowboys at Bengals on a Sunday after playing Baltimore on Tuesday. I like the Bengals chances. ESPN predictor has them at a 67% chance to win (yes, I know it's crap but things are looking up for a loss).

Gotta sell the tank or the league starts watching too closely. The Jets are allowing 29.4 points per game, it's not like Gregg Williams was setting the world on fire before Sunday.

ESPN floated the incredible idea that if the Patriots are eliminated from the playoffs entirely going to Week 17 - which seems pretty likely given they are 6-6 and 9 teams currently have better records in the AFC - that the Patriots purposely tank their last game vs. the Jets, assuming Jacksonville is at 1-14 and the Jets 0-15 or 1-14 at that point.

If the Jets and Jags wind up with the same record, the Jags would get the #1 pick in the draft due to the easier strength of schedule - sucking worse with an easier schedule is the tie-breaker. Depriving the Jets of the #1 pick would theoretically mean the Patriots don't have to see Trevor Lawrence twice a year for his career; and of course, also screwing the Jets over.

Management and Coaches might try and tank, but players don't "tank"

It was a mediocre rookie corner back playing on an island. Granted the players shouldn't have played the blitz that Williams called, but they did and they lost the game because of it.

Jets were up 20-3 on the Rams, now it's 23-17 early in the 4th quarter. Rams were a 17 point favorite.
