Rod Marinelli always gives up the piddly stuff underneath. Cowboys don't think it's a flaw, they think it's a feature.

They want to force teams to drive the field 4 or 5 yards at a time. No big plays. It forces the opponent to go mistake free.

Once the opponents get into field goal range, Marinelli tightens things up.
