KC is very near the bottom in pretty much every defensive category...

Went 4/4 this weekend, but I have pretty much no confidence in my remaining picks. I got Rams over Saints which could go either way depending on which teams show up. Also have Chiefs over Pats. I expected the Pats to get to this point but not in a blowout over the Chargers.

scoring was up in the divisional round, but none of the games were shootouts like we saw at times during the regular season. All the victors played good defense.

the LA-NE final score 41-28 is misleading as the Chargers scored 14 garbage time points.

What category??
Total defense, according to NFL.com

Edit - I misread. That's just for the postseason.

Regular season scoring D, the teams are 9 (KC), 13, 19, and 26.

#9 in scoring defense, #2 in total yards, #1 in sacks, and #2 in what they call "Game Stats"

Man, I don't know who to pick in the two Conference title games. KC versus NE is a really interesting match-up. I think KC is by far more talented, but NE is so dang well-coached and you can never, ever count out Brady.

NO Versus LA should be crazy, too.

KC is the most intriguing one to me, the young gun v. the old master. Can Belicheck counter all the crazy ways Mahomes can come up with?

For sure - crazy good match-up that could go either way after the way both performed this past weekend. I really thought the Chargers would fight NE to the end, but NE buried them early. Just insane how NE is just a freaking machine under Belichick.

I want to see Mahomes vs brees in the super bowl.

I think we will see a brees vs. Brady super bowl tho.

I keep waiting for Mahomes to come back down to earth, but he just keeps putting my jaw on the ground. Guy has been unbelievable.

#9 scoring defense of you consider giving up most points to be #1

I didn't notice that. I wonder why it defaults to highest-to-lowest, which doesn't make sense for these metrics.

I don't know what's going on with sacks, NFL.com says 52, ESPN says 26 for the Chiefs... I do think 52 is right though.

all right, at stake today...

the Patriots are looking for their 11th Super Bowl appearance. NE already holds the all-time record with 10.

the Chiefs are trying for their 3rd Super Bowl appearance and first since Super Bowl IV following the 1969 season.

the Saints and Drew Brees are going for their 2nd Super Bowl appearance.

and the Rams are shooting for the franchise's 4th Super Bowl appearance. And the first one in L.A. since 1979

Why would the NFL schedule the Dome game as midday and the outside game as the evening one?

Chiefs and pats are the sexier matchup. All about ratings and tv money.

Close, but completely wrong.

It's rotated AFC/NFC as first game for over 15 seasons
