This Texans team reminds me of the team that made the playoffs, I believe in O'Briens first year, and then got smoked in the playoffs by the Chiefs.

Impressive win when you consider that Peters, Jamerson and Moore all got significant time on the field..... together! I think a better QB could have shredded that unit, but Case didn't have the chops to make us pay.
Injury bug keeps taking guys out. As long as we can hold on to the big 4 we got a chance, but the team is definitely taking a beating.
Nice to get the win. Hopefully we can use the bye week to send some guys to Germany to get ground-up horse fetus injected into their hamstrings.

Deshaun Watson is now the 3rd player in NFL history with at least 35 passing TDs through his first 16 career games. Hall of Famers Marino and Warner are the others.

This play lost the game for Broncos. Why tf would you attempt a 61 yard FG with 20 seconds left to half when only down by 3? Instead, Texans get 3 points.W said:
so looking back...Vance had McManus try a 61-yard FG at the end of the 1st half...and a 51-yard FG at the end of the 2nd half.
he's another coach that doesn't understand why low percentage plays / strategies are...low percentage
The terrible personal foul penalty on Mathieu was a blessing in disguise...they would have punted without that62strat said:This play lost the game for Broncos. Why tf would you attempt a 61 yard FG with 20 seconds left to half when only down by 3? Instead, Texans get 3 points.W said:

Mahomes has 28 in 10 games right? He's gonna smash the record (whatever it is)
Luckily while we seem to be nicked up here and there, it doesn't seem like we have a lot of guys lost on the season. Fuller is probably the big one. I think Zach Fulton, Aaron Colvin and Coutee are supposed to be back soon. It seems like we get a lot of contributors back after the bye.Ags #1 said:
Cunningham is one of our best tacklers and cover guys do it hurts big time when he is out
This is on a tangent... but in reading about Mond struggling in Jimbo's offense, one of the reasons given is that it's so complex and hard to grasp and takes so much time, yet guys like this and Jameis Winston were able to grasp it.Mr.Bond said:

Mahomes has 28 in 10 games right? He's gonna smash the record (whatever it is)Mahomes is on pace to come up 4 TDs short of that.
Edit: turns out he's actually thrown 29 in his first 10 games, so he's on pace for 46-47 depending on how you want to round it.
