They know his Defense has a shelf life, but letting him get away to a division opponent is surprising.

Apparently the Colts job might still be opening. No one knows wtf Irsay is doing....including Pagano, the GM...and Irsay himself.

He reached out and offered Gruden the job, who turned it down...but hasn't fired Pagano.

McDaniels tells 49ers thanks but no thanks. Schefter reports he's likely to stay in New Englandf or 2017.

49ers move on to focus on Kyle Shanahan.

That sure says a lot (or very little) of what was once viewed as a very prestigous NFL head coaching position in the 9ers.
