Don't know if this is true or not, but an NO relative of mine told me that Payton was involved with a Saints cheerleader. Apparently, that was what precipitated the move to Dallas.

Payton's infidelity was the biggest unkept secret in NO. He was not very subtle in his trists, so I imagine this was a long time coming.

Living in NOLA, I have heard must of the rumors of why the family moved back to Dallas.

He fathered a baby with a Cowboys cheerleader when he coached there.

He had an affair with the producer of the Sean Payton TV Show, ala John Edwards , but without baby and federal prosecution.

Have not heard the Saints cheerleader story.

Will people hate Sean Payton as much as they hate Tiger Woods?

I've heard the story of him slaying the TV host from numerous individuals, not sure how much credence there is to the Saintsation stories though.

What concerns me most is that these same guys insist that Rita Benson has turned into a carpet muncher, I can promise you that was not the case back at A&M. What in the hell is going on with this franchise?

As one of my Saints friends noted he is the Bobby Petrino of the NFL, where instead of getting fired for sleeping around you are seen as a hero.

And Drew Brees was defending him on Twitter initally on the bounty thing. Then when he learned more he was silent.

I think Drew is pretty disheartened by the whole matter. Pretty sad.
