I hate the rule too, but what is the nfl going to do? Just read an article today about 4 more players suing the nfl for head injuries and memory loss from concussions. Sad thing is, the nfl will probably lose the lawsuit. I think these new rules are a reaction to the lawsuits. NFL players know exactly what the game can do to them and now want to receive compensation after they retire and have burned up all their money.
