What on earth will an interim coach do besides ralley the team to a few garbage wins, weaken our draft, get people back in the stadium, and help Jerry feel better about himself.

I really want things to fall apart for JJ, even more so than they are now. I want him to see that his mistakes have reduced the team to the biggest joke in the NFL. An addict has to hit rock bottom before any real change can take place.

So if a rookie pay scale is put into place in the next CBA, would having the #1 pick be more advantageous that has been in previous years?

I think you do what everyone has suggested, and you fire Wade and elevate Jason Garrett as HC pro tem. Garrett then gets 8 games to try and make it work, and a full coaching hire goes on in the offseason.

With the strike looming, a new coach wouldn't be able to get his system implemented anyway. This method allows you to deal with the Jason Garrett situation as well.

And while you are at it, get some of the young guys off the bench and get them more reps now so you know what you have going into the off season..... It would GREATLY benefit the Cowboys if they could decide on if McGee can make them comfortable coming in for Romo in an emergency, so really need to see him NOW
