not a cowboys fan, and even with the rule of "inactive" nonsense that the boys couldn't go back to Kitna...but why don't they go to McGee now that that last TD has truly put it out of hand?

The NYG will likely pin their ears back, and some may say you want to save a "debut" for an easier defense...but I think you throw him in during the worst possible situation, and when you evaluate later you help explain that's as bad as it gets.

No, it wouldn't have been a penalty for any QB. He was on his way down but not down and the defensive player had already started his talking motion. Only reason Kitna got hit in the head by the giants player was because he was going down.

You aren't supposed to hit the quarterbacks in any part of their body when they slide feet first. It wasn't much of tackle, but combined with head contact - it should have been flagged.

But at this point, you need to decapitate Eli Manning. Pay your $50k fine, but you injure him.
