Howdy Ags,
I'm Jaxson Leiskau, an Electronic Systems Engineering senior with a minor in Engineering Project Management. I will be graduating in December of 2027. I'm looking for a Summer 2027 internship in the DFW area (or remote) in embedded systems, electrical/test engineering, manufacturing engineering, or controls. If your company is hiring, or you know someone I should talk to, I'd really appreciate a pointer.
What I've done so far:
- Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Intern, Acuity (Summer 2026): Built a C#/.NET production app for first-piece crimp validation that ties together a digital micrometer, barcode scanners, an RFID badge reader and a Zebra label printer. It targets $28K+ in documented quality losses, with a projected 80% reduction in related costs.
- R&D Intern, Speechbolt AI (Summer 2025): Built and deployed a Python web app to analyze and archive SMS phishing links for an AI scam-prevention startup.
- Founder, Leiskau Solutions: Built an AI voice agent and chatbot platform for small service businesses (Claude API, n8n, Cloudflare).
- rfIDEA: Led a student team building an RFID inventory prototype and won 1st place pitching to NASA and industry judges at A&M's YAP camp.
- Currently: Repair technician at CPR Cell Phone Repair; Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
Skills: C, C++, C#, Python, Arm Assembly; STM32, ESP32, MSP430; UART/SPI/I2C; hardware integration and production test.
I am happy to send my resume to anyone interested. You can reach me at JaxsonLeiskau@gmail.com, or on LinkedIn at linkedin.com/in/jaxsonleiskau.
Thanks and Gig 'em!
