I'm a 2013 Petroleum Engineering graduate, and my husband and I founded the Faces of Freedom Houston Sporting Clays Tournament in 2024 to support Freedom Service Dogs.
Freedom Service Dogs is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides custom-trained service dogs, completely free of charge, to military veterans, active-duty military members, and first responders. To date, our tournament has raised over $500,000 to support their mission, and last year alone FSD placed more than 60 service dogs with veterans, first responders, and others living with disabilities.
This year's tournament will be held on Friday, November 6, at Westside Sporting Grounds in Katy.
Last year's event welcomed more than 300 attendees, and we're looking to make an even bigger impact this year.
We're currently looking for:
* Corporate sponsors at a variety of sponsorship levels
* Team registrations
* Exclusive sponsorships, including our Beverage Sponsor
* Live and silent auction donations such as guided hunting or fishing trips, vacation homes or weekend stays, sporting event or concert tickets, firearms and outdoor gear, coolers, grills, gift baskets, gift cards, artwork, custom items, experiences, or other unique, high-quality items
* Door prizes and shooter giveaway donations
* Businesses willing to donate products, services, or experiences
* Introductions to individuals or companies with charitable giving programs, community partnership initiatives, or marketing budgets
