My wife is a nurse in Fort Worth, is this a day rate type position or hourly?

Hourly, plus hourly for travel.

If your wife is interested, we have a pretty decent need in DFW right now.

My wife was an ER nurse at Memorial Hermann med center for 10 years, then has been a school nurse at a Catholic school for the last 15. She is looking to do something else, located in NW Houston suburbs, This exactly the kind of thing she's looking for, do you think she'd be considered even though she's been out of traditional nursing for so long ?

Absolutely. As long as she is comfortable starting IVs- which is the main thing. Several nurses have found that this is a nice, flexible way to utilize their license while "retiring" or stepping away from the hospital and clinical settings while still helping medically complex patients. We also find that ER nurses and former ER nurses do really well in this environment.

Bumping again.

Still hiring- several positions available. Anywhere in Texas, but most immediately looking for RNs in San Antonio, Austin, and DFW areas.

What kind of electrolytes do y'all do?

We only do medical infusions- not hydration/vitamin type infusions. These are typically for medically complex patients and those with autoimmune diseases who require their medications to be infused rather than pill form. This also allows them to receive their medication in the comfort of their homes, rather than at an infusion center or hospital. The bulk of what we do is IVIG, and all of our patients are referred to us through specialty pharmacies after receiving medication orders from their specialists.

Your website says electrolytes. At my old.practice, docs would want to give things like zinc or copper (not so much an electrolyte but vitamin) that we weren't able to give. So just wondering.

Assuming these are all payers & not just private pay?

Can you screenshot where our website says we offer electrolytes? (We need to fix that if it does. Everything is billed through the pharmacies- we just staff the visits. We do hydration orders in conjunction with some of our med orders. These are the services we offer per our website:

We are actively looking for RNs in Tyler, Nacogdoches, and east Texas if you know anyone. They can apply on our website or email their resume to hr@infusionconsultants.org or tmerrill@infusionconsultants.org (it gets to me either way).
