I am looking for an intern opportunity for a finance intern that has some real world financial modeling experience.

1) Need some education specifically in finance, even if your are an accounting or economics major. You need to have had financial statement analysis. Public company investment analysis would also be helpful.

2) Experience creating or working with financial models is going to be key here. Even if it's basic modeling, some experience putting together or working with a P&L budget or forecast is going to be required.

3) We are looking for someone that is immediately available for 20 - 40 hours a week, preferably 40.

4) Work will be, for example:
----A) Creating financial analysis that will be used to communicate to investors and / or potential investors,
----B) income statement forecasting, pulling out insights from transactional level sales data on the type of customers that are creating the most value,
----C) demonstrating trend analysis from sales data.

5) Need to be able to travel to Austin for initial training. Ability to commute daily to downtown Austin a huge plus, but we would consider telecommute candidates.

6) Internship would last into September, but end dates in late August would also work.

7) Pay would be hourly and commensurate with experience level, but pay will be targeting entry-level candidates or candidates with 2 years or less of experience.

DM me if you have stars, or post here if you are interested and don't have stars.
