Just found out ~2 hours ago that my contract will no be longer funded after the 26th of April. Which essentially means I'm out of a job next Friday. I used to work in CO Springs and support our office still in Colorado Springs. Work for Collins Aerospace on their Ejection Seating programs.

Good(ish) news is that we were given enough funding to go until May 18th. So I have a little more time to figure things out. Keeping my options open. Thank you to 10andBOUNCE for your help so far!

Now that I am coming up for air, I realize that I left out those details! I have a strong background in satellite operations and systems engineering. Have gotten into test engineering the last few years. The goal is to find a more senior or management role. Still open to anything!

Not sure. I'm a space guy by training and experience, but I could switch to the air-breathing world if need be! Either way, my employment situation is less bleak now. Just got confirmation that we are funded until 31 August. I still plan to seek employment elsewhere, but I can finally catch my breath and figure out my next move. Thank you to everyone who has reached out. Will continue to check in and keep y'all posted on my employment journey.
