Hello Ags,

Anyone know of a remote-based hourly position where I can supplement my current income? Part time or even possibly full-time...Right now I have a full time remote job but need to earn more on the side, and need to stay remote if possible due to my wife's health issues.

Current role is international and domestic logistics management, however I am currently handing off my day to day admin duties to someone else to focus more on optimizing and strategy.

Do you have any subject matter expertise? All the AI model creators are looking for humans to review and train models in sometimes a gig type fashion. UBER is even funneling jobs like that to its drivers.

Look at the "tutor" roles for X.AI

Scroll to the bottom and look in the Domains. At minimum, start with Generalist.

I have heard some / most of these AI Training and Data Entry jobs are scams. Although I do not know what the scammers are targeting. How do you vet the ads / companies? I got one that emailed me off of my LinkedIn profile. If it seems too good to be true it usually is...

Ever consider getting your notary and doing remote closing for refi's? I did it for a bit and made decent money. You can clear 5k/mo. if you do about 12 per week. The best part is you can negotiate the appointment time on most.

I had a co-worker recently work a part time / seasonal job for the last couple of months for Turbo Tax. The hours seemed brutal, and I am not sure how much she cleared. Might be an option for someone if they want to work like crazy for a couple months versus continual second job.

You can search closing agent and find what you need to get started. You basically complete a training, pass a test, and obtain liability E&O insurance to get started. Once you're signed up you'll subscribe to an app that sends out job notifications. If selected, you print the docs, do the closing, scan the docs and your done. Start to finish it takes about 2 hours per assignment and they pay 90 per assignment (on average).

You pick what areas you are willing to serve in the app.

You'll need a high capacity printer with the account to print docs of mixed 8x11 and legal pages. (Collated).

Is the printing reimbursable?

2 hours per assignment, you were doing 24 hrs/week on top of your job?

Printing is not reimbursable. I purchased a copier and signed a lease agreement for toner and maintenance. I pay like $0.04 a copy. Instead of providing the signer with their copy, I would offer a USB drive instead. 90% of the time they prefer the USB so I only had to print one copy.

I'd put the signed copy on the USB for them.

I did this while I was in between jobs.

What about the ones during virtual closings online? We did this back in December, refinance closing was 100% online.

I don't have experience with virtual closings so I can't say.
