I would not use AI!
I used Mr. Shelley. He is fair, reasonable and composed a resume and cover letters for me that are adjustable for different targets. They are very high quality and I have received numerous compliments on them.
Not trying to plug for Jim, but he does a real quality job.

I arrive at my fee after careful analysis of the existing resume, the objective of the new resume, and if it aligns or will align with the employment opportunity the candidate desires to attain. When arriving at my fee I consider the concluding document length, the number of employers and academic institutions, and the existing language employed in the important bullet-points.
I then predict what will be the turnaround on the project considering initial consultation and document review and assessment coincident with my existing professional obligations.

With formatting like this, who wouldn't want a resume from you? Buy an ad.
OP - the career center has resources for former students. Though I'd definitely give ChatGPT a go to see what it can generate for you. But use it like a tool - iterate and try to make the output sound like your voice as much as possible. AI generated resumes (like all AI generated content) can have a smell to them that make them seem inauthentic, which is not what you want when trying to communicate your real experience.

The formatting was my cut and paste effort coming from the very forum thread which, by the way and before the thread was concluded, had the highest ever number of views upon the job forum. There are a number of threads associated with me dating back to 2016. Some good. Few bad.
OP.... pay attention to the bolded above. You don't get a second first impression with a plastic resume.

Having had attempted to use Mr. Shelley years ago, I would recommend the AI over his services, for all except the most basic, entry level resumes. And then I'd still run it through AI to clean up the inevitable grammatical and punctuation errors he may introduce.
