Howdy. I'm searching for a project manager for my growing RIA (registered investment advisor) firm.
We are actively recruiting advisors around the country that are looking to break away from their existing firm and go independent with our firm. This is a big project each time involving a lot of details and everything is important and extremely confidential.
We need someone that can keep things organized and keep the project moving in the right direction. We expect to have 3-5 people join per year so you may have one or two projects going at any time but we think it's very likely enough to keep you busy.
Think of it as involving
Technology (work on getting website made, video content created, mobile app created, software installed on computer, all hardware delivered on time and installed properly in location)
Real estate (locating a location, negotiating a lease, getting utilities up and running, making sure Internet works at the location, etc)
Legal (coordinate meetings with advisor and attorney)
Marketing (make sure there is business cards and collateral like coffee mugs and envelopes etc, make sure website is live on the day of launch. Make sure social media promotion is going the day of launch.
Help support transition by being on site with us and the advisor team when they launch. Potentially helping us greet clients and getting signatures.
The list goes on.
There's a lot in this position. We'd like this person to be close to an airport or willing to be travel sometimes when it's needed.
For example we are based in Nacogdoches but have one advisor in Alabama, soon one in Arizona and Arkansas. And expecting one in Georgia later this year. As we grow we see more around the country which is maybe traveling there one to two times during a project to make sure things go well.
