Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Senior Tax Accountant that will be responsible for tax compliance, tax preparation, tax planning, financial statements, general accounting and other related duties as assigned. The Senior Tax Accountant will be required to maintain client relationships, identify issues and propose solutions, and ensure timely and accurate completion of client engagements. Candidate must maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies. This role may require occasional travel to local client sites. The possibility exists for advancement and potential partnership.

Requirements:
- CPA required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 5+ years of experience in tax preparation and accounting
- Proficiency with tax software and MS Office, particularly Excel
- In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Tax Compliance and Tax Preparation skills
- Experience with IRS audits and federal/state tax compliance
- Experience with Financial Statement preparation and review
- Strong understanding of Accounting principles and practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to develop and maintain client relationships
- Willingness to work additional hours during peak tax seasons
