Have a relative who went back to school in his mid thirties and just graduated from OU with his engineering degree from their energy school. I know there are a ton of oil and gas companies in Houston that he can look up and apply to, but wanted to see if anybody knows of any good openings. He seems pretty agnostic to reservoir/driling/production/etc…

Smart guy with two little kids at home who will work really hard and be dependable, just needs a start.

I'm a PETE student here at Tamu, my advice would be to join the OU or Houston Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) they'll all have info on finding a job, or at-least get you some face time with engineers in O&G

Thanks, I'll see if he has already done that and encourage him to if he hasn't.
