Some detail on my background and value I could bring to your organization: I graduated from A&M about ten years ago with a BBA and later earned an MBA from a top business school. My career started in management consulting but I've spent most of it working in strategy, corporate development, and commercial roles in the energy space. I've developed a unique ability to "tell a story" and communicate complex issues / ideas in an effective, concise manner. I believe I have a skill set that could benefit private business owners or companies - especially those navigating PE fundraising, M&A readiness, or just generally in a period of growth.
My primary value-add would be via developing executive and board-level materials, investor presentations, and B2B pitch decks with quality you'd see from an investment bank. I also have strong experience in data analysis, financial modeling, and due diligence / underwriting significant capital investments.
I love my day job and want to preserve that, so I'll be selective about the type of work I take on. In short, I'm looking for opportunities to broaden my exposure to other industries, continue growing my skill set, and make some extra income for my kids' college fund. Work would be done under a retainer-like structure but would also consider ad hoc project work to get in the door.
