About Us
impac Fleet is a small, fast-growing company focused on fleet management solutions. While we haven't needed a full-time accountant until now, the increasing workload from new products, billing, and credit responsibilities has created the need for this pivotal role.
The Role
As the Senior Accountant, you'll own our financial processes from start to finish, collaborating directly with the President on financial analysis and strategy. This role offers the flexibility and independence to lead everything from daily bookkeeping to strategic projects such as audits and financial reporting.
What You'll Do
Manage QuickBooks and Excel to handle day-to-day accounting tasks.
Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
Oversee billing and credit management, with plans to expand these processes.
Collaborate on audit preparation and compliance (our first audit was just completed this year).
Analyze financial data and provide insights to the President to support decision-making.
Take on a mix of tasks, from small details to big-picture projects.
What We're Looking For
A CPA (or equivalent experience) with a strong background in QuickBooks and Excel.
Proven ability to work independently and manage full-cycle accounting in a growing business.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle both routine tasks and strategic initiatives.
Experience with audits or financial reporting is a plus.
A proactive mindset, ready to adapt and grow with the company.
