Has anyone found a good online free source for compensation ranges in oil & gas ? I have reached out to some recruiters but they are slow to answer. Salary.com is a waste of time for oil & gas jobs.

Glassdoor might be your best bet, although not completely accurate. Indeed has some salary data as well. You can always do your own research and look up job postings that have the salary range in there, and get an average.

Depends on the role.

Supply chain in O&G pays better than in other industries. Medical devices probably comes in a close second. You get compensated well, but the flip side is you're always looking over your shoulder for layoffs.

Glassdoor was better 10 years ago. With all the inflation, lots of the data is outdated.
