I've ping ponged around over the years, and now have a mismatched set of sport coats, dress shirts, and pants. I'm looking to go with one source, and stick with it.


For daily wear, I have gone with Bonobos and CT shirts.

I like Sid Mashburn. Definitely cheaper options out there but the quality (and in-store tailoring) is exceptional. I particularly like their high twist wool pieces - great balance of breathability, durability, and wrinkle-resistance.

Guy named Raj comes around twice a year and a bunch of people getvtgeur stuff custom from him…he'll size you here and then it's made in Thailand and shipped back.

$60 suit and no one knows any different.

I love the fact that I don't have an answer to this question.

Blue jeans and a polo or fishing shirt every day!

I get that certain industries require a suit, but in the age of industry if I show up in a suit, I'll be run out of the building.

My job does not require a suit, but I do have a need for suits for other reasons. I use a guy named Raj that flies in from Thailand twice per year that I highly recommend. He'll take all your measurements and you pick swatches and he goes back and makes them for you and mails them to you. It takes about 6 weeks. Any tailored clothing is what he can provide. Let me know if you're interested and I can provide you his contact info. He goes into Houston and comes up to The Woodlands.

Am I the only attorney around who doesn't own a suit?

Used to have them, haven't bought one in 10-12 years.

Don't own many nice clothes either, no one in Colorado EVER wears nice clothes.
