I have a client looking for this type of person in Houston. Typically projects include civil engineering design and construction oversight/inspection for Water, Sewer, Paving, Drainage, Lift Stations, and Treatment Plants. This person will be employed by the engineering consulting firm as the owner's field rep. Ideally, this person could review contractor's pay estimates to ensure time / cost / materials are in line with the owner's intent.
Related experience is desirable. We have other CM openings that require a P.E. license; this one does not - not necessarily even an Engineering degree. They originally were open to someone more green, but that tolerance has waned - they want someone with their project experience already.
Office is based in Westchase, but travel to job sites will be regular. It's a directly-employed, full-time job and the company pays the full family health insurance premium (~$20k - $25k cost annually). Company likes steady folks, committed to the small team environment.
