I have a smaller, civil engineering firm client on the South/Southeast side of Houston that has developed a niche in serving smaller municipalities as their external City Engineer. The job is primarily representing the Client (smaller City with no Engineering staff) in reviewing design plans coming from developer engineering consultants to check for adherence to city/county requirements; and working through solutions with the developer's engineers.
