I am looking for 2 months now. Just 3 companies have called. Of which just 1 that I had applied to. 2 calls were for roles 2 levels above where I was and got rejects from both. One was expected, one was not since I had a call with the CEO which went fantastic and he even said he wanted me to meet with his other team members. Then the recruiter calls to say they were not moving forward.
Frustrating. I have been laid off before but it's never been this slow.
I might have to make some compromises now. It is not a money issue for me, I am comfortable there. But I feel sitting idle is playing with my mind now. And 3 people who got laid off with me found other jobs. May not be what they wanted but they got something.
