Posted a similar position a few months ago for Corpus and that's been filled. However, now need help closer to our home base of Houston. We're a small company of 12-15 people based in Houston and across the US and Worldwide. Workload is trending upwards and looking for help to support our growth.
We're a heavy lift and project cargo engineering and survey company. We've typically recruited out of TAMUG quite successfully over the past decade+ but finding it a little harder these days to find the type of employee needed for the work right out of school. 75% Aggie owned and operated, and still employ many Sea Aggies to date.
Anyone in Houston with a Maritime background, or simply interested in the industry, looking for a job shoot me an email. Bachelor's preferred but not necessarily required (industry or relevant experience, in lieu of or addition to, is always a plus). This is a field job that would involve being on board the various modes of transportation. Travel involved at times. Certainly not banker's hours.
Additionally, anyone looking for a summer internship or part time job feel free to reach out as well. We are able to train and utilize folks with little to no experience in various capacities after a short training period.
