Anyone in finance hiring a student intern for summer 2021? My son is junior Finance Major, MIS minor with a 3.8 gpa at McCombs (please don't shoot me for this!) and has been working his tail off looking for an internship but with covid there seems to be very few spots available. I just thought I would reach out to my fellow Aggies to see if anyone would be willing to help him or guide him. He is open to working/moving anywhere. Thank you!

I recommend looking into this program. They take around 500 interns a year. I went through this intern program a while back. Leads to a permanent position after graduation. Last semester was mostly virtual but great benefits and opportunities.

A finance major would mostly lead to the Copper CAP program that deals with contracting projects and/or contracts for various squadrons

No not looking for course credit. Paid or unpaid doesn't matter either. His main goal is getting great experience and hopefully getting a foot in the door for a future permanent job.

I don't think we can help with course credits, but we do pay summer interns. Will he be in Houston over the summer?

He is definitely open to living wherever he can get an internship. He will do the leg work on figuring out course credit.

Send me his resume and I'll add him to the candidate list for the company. I'm looking for a couple of MBAs but other teams are targeting BBAs.
