That and not talking **** about the free A&M resources.

Thank you.

I haven't advertised in a decade, aside from my website. All of my business is referral based. Further, serving A&M clients accounts for just 4.75% of my business. I'm not getting rich... wealthy... from the A&M crowd. Seeing posts when someone shares they have advanced through my assistance, that's a personal reward upon which a dollar value can't be assigned.

A review of threads and posts bearing my moniker will reveal that advertising, defined, is not that in which I engage.

Thank you for a comment that wasn't personal, derogatory, or condescending. That's reasonable.

Be safe! Be well!

I subscribe to the "I control nothing" philosophy.

This is a horrible philosophy in general, but is pure gold here because it is not a philosophy I would want expressed in my resume. In this thread you responded with a passive passive response to someone that suggested using a free resource before seeking your assistance. You controlled that. The high road would have been to say thank you to the few that endorsed you then bow out of the conversation. Most people consider a few bad reviews to be trolls. You also controlled the dealings with people that earned you the bad reviews.

My bad review stemmed from your passive voice, which makes your resume read like you are a leaf that gets blown around in life because things just happen to you. Now I see that your passive tense actually stems from a core philosophy of "I control nothing"

Examples of passive tense from your response:
The passage of time will cause that in a person. Time tempers people.

Thank you for your analysis.

I admit I wasn't as clear as I should have been. I control not people, places, things, events, or institutions. Only my behavior can I control. That doesn't make me a leaf... or a pushover.

Have a great day!!

Agreed. If you had behaved better, while dealing with the people who paid you ~$500, you would have received more positive reviews. Grow out of your thin skin. It would really help your business.

I think you received some very sound feedback from agdaddy04 regarding advertising. Whether your want to consider your presence on this site as participation, referrals, or whatever, any reasonable observer would view it as a means to drive revenue (i.e advertising or marketing). You also place your personal website, which you have now stated contains advertising, on the signature line of every post.

It's up to Texags on how they want to police there advertisers. However, I think many on this thread have made a pretty reasonable assumption around why you are here: revenue. The fact that you want to dance around that further reinforces agdaddy04 critique.

Thank you for that deserved correction. It was earned, and I have removed my signature.

Not every Aggie connecting with me has commissioned my service. Complimentary I've helped many Aggies by providing assistance, direction, and consultation with their resume. Never have I declined someone assistance because of their financial circumstances and, as evidenced by certain posts, have provided certain of my service absent any fee. When I hear back from someone that was rewarded by my advice, that "personal satisfaction" is a fruit that tastes great.

Thank you, again, for your commentary. I appreciate it.

Why is this thread even still up? Some people get worked up over the most ridiculous things. Staff should have cleaned it up a long time ago.

It's the Job Network board...not the ***** and moan board.

Weird that all of your testimonial links point to TexAgs, not 4.75% of them. It's almost like you encourage your clients to write reviews on this forum, and even to start new threads about you immediately after the old one is locked by staff. Sure smells like advertisement to me.

Side note: I wouldn't trust the structure and design of my resume to someone whose website uses space this ineffectively. The content on this page is somehow both sparse and dense at the same time.

And why are no other universities listed? It's like we're the only one he preys on.

You are welcome to telephone me during my regular operating hours. I'll explain why, exactly, A&M is the only university listed upon my website. My response may surprise you. Your telephone call to me will be held in confidence. Chat soon.
